My best friend, Anissa and I met when we were five years old and instantly gravitated to one another. We laugh at the same things (kids falling), have a mutual infatuation with cats and with 18 years of shared memories, have so many inside jokes that I’m surprised our friends can stand us. We’re annoyingly similar in every way other than our style.
A few examples: While I’m picking out highlighter orange lipstick, she goes with a nude gloss. As I’m on a constant search for loud, patterned pants, she prefers a classic pair of jeans. While I’ll look back at my style in a few years and ask myself why I chose to wear floral from head-to-toe, Anissa’s style will look classic and timeless.
Her outfit this weekend was ideal for the weather as it was chilly and overcast. The chunky sweater that she pulled over a long-sleeve white shirt was casual perfection for fall.

This is my best friend. Can you understand why I may have had self-esteem issues as a child? She’s stunning and has always had this natural personal style that I envy. Although she now lives in Florida, I’m SO happy we got to hang, laugh and shoot some photos this weekend. Love you, Nissa!

I agree with every word except the part where you feel less than beautiful. You are so beautiful, from the inside out.
Hi Jeri!
I was mostly kidding with that comment. I just think it’s funny how exotic-looking A is and I’m the exact opposite with blonde hair and blue eyes. Thanks for the comment

I like the watch!
Isn’t it gorgeous?!
