If you’ve turned on a television in the last month or so, you’ve probably seen the ad for the New Internet Explorer that makes the browser look bad-ass; dubstep as the background, tree frogs and the sky in fast forward (staples for any goosebump-inducing video). The new IE promises to be faster, safer and more stable. Unfortunately Internet Explorer, the only people you’re fooling with that line are those who use AOL mail and use the term “World Wide Web” to describe the Internet.
Thankfully, WorldWideInterweb.com create a video mocking the new IE ad and showing what actually happens when you use the web browser From shutdowns to it’s inability to have multiple browsers up and still function smoothly, the “Internet Explorer 9 Commercial (The Honest Version)” articulates all of the reasons we cringe when IE pops up on our screen.
Happy Friday kids, may it be an Internet Explorer-free one!
