The Chicago-based photographer was one of the first large ‘Instagram-ers’ I started following when I first downloaded the app over a year ago. My favorite posts by Paul are his long-range beach and hill shots, like the one pictured below! Be sure to check him out, he posts a diverse selection of photos, and if you’re a fan of Chicago, especially its skyline, you will like his stuff!
Theron Humphrey, aka ‘thiswildidea’, has one of the largest followings on Instagram, and for good reason. He’s a great photographer with a unique eye for things, oh and his dog, Maddie. If you are a dog-lover, be sure to follow Humphrey! Pictured below is one of my favorite pictures of Instagram’s most famous dog.
If you are from Michigan, you have to follow ‘tonydetroit’. Being only one of 6,000 people living in downtown Detroit, Tony posts great images of the city and surrounding areas. The effects Tony uses on his pictures are very unique as well, check it out!
Brian DiFeo, aka ‘BRIDIF’, is a New Yorker with some of the most beautiful pictures of NYC I’ve ever seen. He’s great at catching objects in motion; people, dogs, etc., which is great skill to have living in NYC. I’m obsessed with New York, so I may be a little biased, but regardless if you’re into the ‘Big Apple’, check him out, he’s great!
I don’t know too much about this user, I know she’s a great photographer, she hangs out with Justin Vernon (Bon Iver), and she’s an avid traveler (judging by her photos). Do you really need other reasons to check her out? She’s put a vintage twist on a lot her photos as well. Check her out!
